You’re Not Too Much.
You’ve Just Been Carrying Too Much Alone.
I work with women, men, and couples who are tired of repeating the same patterns — in their relationships, their communication, and within themselves.
Most of the people I work with look like they have it together on the outside.
They’re working.
They’re showing up.
They’re handling responsibilities.
But underneath that…
They’re overwhelmed.
They’re shutting down.
They’re stuck in the same conversations, the same patterns, the same stress.
Some are carrying everything for everyone else.
Some don’t know how to say what they feel without it turning into conflict.
Some love their partner — but don’t know how to get back to each other.
If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Why this work matters to me
I’ve worked in this field for over 15 years, and one thing has always been clear:
People don’t struggle because they’re weak.
They struggle because they’ve had to carry too much for too long — without the right tools or support.
As a Caribbean woman, I understand the expectations many of us grow up with:
Handle it yourself
Be strong
Keep going
But strength without support eventually becomes exhaustion.
That’s where this work comes in.
What it’s like to work with me
My style is direct, honest, and practical.
I’m not here to just listen — I’m here to help you understand what’s happening and change it.
That means:
• We name patterns clearly
• We work on communication that actually works
• We build tools you can use outside of sessions
• We focus on real change, not just insight
For couples, we work on breaking the cycle — not just replaying the argument.
For men, we work on understanding what’s underneath the shutdown and how to express it.
For women, we work on reducing emotional overload and building boundaries that actually hold.

A little more about me
Outside of therapy, I’m a mother of four and someone who understands the weight of responsibility, family expectations, and always being the one people rely on.
I don’t believe in perfect lives.
I believe in building a life that you can actually live — not just manage.
If this resonates, let’s talk.
You don’t have to keep figuring this out on your own.
